Living Trust “Anchored” Estate Planning provides all the terms and conditions selected to manage aspects of the person or persons who create the trust. The person or persons who create the trust have several titles which mean the same thing; “grantor,” “settlor,” or “trustor.” Trusts do not have executors; Wills have executors.
Living trust anchored estate planning focuses on protecting the grantor’s physical life and material wealth, using all the legal techniques available to do so. After the death of the person who created the revocable trust, the trust will become irrevocable and hold or distribute the decedent’s property in the manner instructed in the trust(s). Successful distribution requires up to the minute legal and tax knowledge to successfully manage the entire estate. This process protects the grantor(s). It provides continuous protection for specific individuals, known as beneficiaries.
